How to publish a Lovable app to the App Store and Google Play

Updated October 2026

Short answer: You need an Apple Developer account ($99/yr), a Google Play account ($25 once), and a native wrapper. AppNative builds the iOS and Android apps from your Lovable GitHub repo, automates certificates and App Store Connect, uploads to TestFlight, and adds the native features that keep you from being rejected under guideline 4.2.

1. Developer accounts

Enroll at developer.apple.com and play.google.com/console. Organizations need a D-U-N-S number for Apple.

2. Wrap the app

Follow how to make a Lovable app a mobile app.

3. Avoid the 4.2 "minimum functionality" rejection

Add push notifications, Face ID, a home-screen widget, deep links and offline handling. Use native in-app purchases (StoreKit) for digital goods — Apple rejects Stripe checkouts for digital content inside iOS apps.

4. Store listing

Screenshots (6.7" and 6.5" iPhone, plus iPad if supported), privacy policy URL, privacy labels and a demo login for the reviewer. AppNative can generate the listing copy and push screenshots for you.

5. TestFlight, then submit

Install from TestFlight, check login, payments and push, then submit. Review usually takes 1–3 days.
