How to make your Lovable app a mobile app (iOS & Android)

Updated October 2026

Short answer: Lovable builds web apps. To get one into the App Store and Google Play, wrap it with AppNative: sync Lovable to GitHub, connect the repo, choose your icon and native features, and build. AppNative creates the native iOS and Android apps, handles Apple's certificates and App Store Connect setup, and uploads to TestFlight and Google Play. No rewrite, your Supabase backend stays the same, and one-time plans start at $149.

Step 1 — Sync your Lovable project to GitHub

In Lovable, open project settings and connect GitHub. Lovable keeps the repo in sync with every edit; AppNative builds from that repo and branch.

Step 2 — Create the app in AppNative

Sign up at appnative.io, click New App, pick the repository, and AppNative detects your framework (Lovable uses React + Vite) and your published URL.

Step 3 — Branding

Upload a 1024×1024 icon and splash screen. AppNative generates every iOS and Android size, safe-area colors and status bar style.

Step 4 — Add native features (this is what gets you approved)

Apple rejects apps that are "just a website" (guideline 4.2). Add native capabilities: push notifications, Face ID, camera, deep links / universal links, home-screen widgets, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts, and StoreKit in-app purchases if you charge for anything.

Step 5 — Connect App Store Connect and Google Play

Add your Apple API key and Google service account once. AppNative registers the bundle ID, creates certificates and provisioning profiles, and creates the App Store Connect record for you.

Step 6 — Build and submit

Click Build. The iOS build lands in TestFlight and the Android build in Google Play's internal track. Test on your phone, then submit for review.
